Virus over reaction

The Coronavirus virus spreading from the East has trapped a number of people on holiday.  Each country is finding its own ways of dealing with the situation.  In my view it’s another reason for not going on a cruise.  Holiday makers have been restricted in their movements in Tenerife recently and one vocal individual on BBC Breakfast had a lot to say for herself and supposedly all the other Brits in the hotel.  I’m certainly not convinced that all the others agreed with her comments.  I can just see this woman standing up and making it clear that she wants to be on the telly.  Her moans and groans made no sense.  They arrived at the hotel 6 hours earlier and she complained that they had had no information and yet when the interviewer questioned her she said all we have had is a letter explaining what we have to do.  What more does she need?
For some reason people seem to feel that they are a special case and need immediate evacuation.  She was fit and well as far as I could see and the fact that this illness is of little danger to the majority of us means that in my view you just have to make the best of it to protect those who are more vulnerable.  Any panic caused is down to the news media and their obsession with trying to find someone to blame instead of praising the actions of the people who are working incredible hard to get people through this situation.  There is enough information out there now for everyone to know what they have to do.  So put your mouth away and pour another G&T - make the most of the situation
