Journalists continue to amaze me
in their ignorance and stupidity. Their confrontational and sarcastic
questioning along with their lack of ability to listen to what has already been
said shows their inability to do their job. There idiotic attempts to try
and catch people out and get people to say things that the journalists will use
to hang them with later. No wonder we don’t get any useful press
conferences. The experts at the Covid press conference do an excellent
job and I don’t know how they retain their patience when answering these so
called journalists. I use the term “so called” because anyone with half a
brain knows that a journalist’s role is to provide us with true facts and not
get bogged down with their own opinions. They use of subjective views as well as
inflammatory language that does nothing to help peoples understanding.
This used to be the issue of the tabloids who I never referred to as newspapers
anyway but now this problem is appearing in the broadsheets. And as for
the BBC don’t get me started .....
