Time marches on and the media continues to make a right hash of
reporting. As I'm sure you have heard me say before the idea of 24 hour
news is a nightmare. The powers that be have to fill the airwaves with
something and most of it is unhelpful spreading unclear messages when the
messages from the Government are perfectly clear. Any idiot can
understand 2 metres and stay at home. I do think that Boris' message this
evening will be less than what some people want but a slow return is what is
needed and a gradual infection of the population which may result in some
people being hospitalised may be necessary but better to do that while we have
plenty of capacity than fall fowl of the disease when capacity is
small.
The issue of the number of tests is something the Media love to hit people
over the head with. Yesterday 98,000 were tested and the media still
talked about failure. What a set of T****.
Capacity is all important and we have that.
